I'm pretty sure my next vacation is going to take me to Alaska. I was listening to a woman on NPR from Jacksonville, Florida who went up to work in Kodiak for a summer.. only to end up moving there permenantly within a year. She decided she loved it and left everything behind to start a new life. Big move, but I can imagine some of the things one must see in the incredible landscape up there would make you want to change your entire life. This albino moose was photographed in Cantwell, Alaska. Jimmy and I looked up pictures of them for hours. Now I want one as a pet.

Its 4 episodes into Lword's 4th season and I'm a little confused.. First - where is Carmen? Shane leaves her at the alter, she cries in her brother's arms, and that's it? Where did she go? Why hasn't someone reached out to go get her - Shane in particular? Second- Dana Fairbanks. I don't think the once tennis-pro, Alice's girl, victim of breast cancer has been mentioned once since she died last season. ? Alice has moved on.. now is organizing basketball tournaments.. what? Do people really forget love THAT quickly?
